They all look interesting but some are either too soon to plan for, on a work night (and I think we'd be hard-pressed to get people to come out after work) or too far (e.g. Palos Heights) at least for the core group that's been participating.
Of all the ones I looked at, the bike rides seem to be the nicest because most people enjoy riding a bike even if they don't like to run, and there are several distances so that no one should be intimidated. Plus, they are far enough in advance to plan for. Although I personally would like the Naperville event, it's way too far. Oak Park is nice (and not just becasue it's where I live!!) but because it's really not that far if you live on the south side.
Anyone else have any thoughts? I'm open.
